Graham Davie
I recently retired from running my own business in London, following a career as a senior operational manager for a number of major retailers. I am an active member of BOTRA, involved with the Committee, fundraising, community events and looking after the market garden and flower tubs in Aylesbury End. Of particular concern to me are the town’s parking problems, infill by inappropriate housing developments and road safety within the old town. I supported the recent planning application for more retail outlets in London End and believe that the economic success of local business is vital for the town’s prosperity. I will continue to support the application when the traffic management issues are resolved. I work three days per week as an unpaid volunteer, new business adviser for South Bucks Hospice as they seek to raise £1.7million for their new hospice in Hazelmere. Married with two grown up sons, I want to give a little back to my local community now I have time and I am delighted to be able to represent the South Ward in the new Town Council.
